Radon Test Kits are available for checkout. The University of Georgia Extension and the Georgia Public Library Service are partnering to launch the Electronic Radon Monitor Loan Program, an initiative to promote radon safety and awareness across the state. The program promotes public health by providing electronic radon monitors for checkout at all Georgia public libraries. Generous donation from the Friends of the Library

The Conyers Rockdale (Nancy Guinn Memorial) Library received a generous donation from the Friends of the Library. A $15,000.00 dollar check was presented to Brenda Poku, Library Director, by FOL Chairperson Elenia Burris. AARP Tax Assistance

AARP is returning to our Library for free tax preparation service. Mondays and Wednesdays, 10:00 am-1:00 pm Starting February 1 and running until April 12 Located in the Meeting Room Patrons must make an appointment with the AARP volunteers in person at the library. No walk-ins or phone calls, and appointments are limited. Same-day appointments are accepted if available.

On a recent Saturday, Conyers Mayor Vince Evans read to a group of children at the Library, kicking off a new program called “The Mayor’s Reading Club.
