Books Honor People Program
The Books Honor People program is a way to acknowledge a special person's date or occasion with a book placed into the library's collection in their name. Think of all the times you would like to recognize and honor someone:
In Memory Of Birth of a Baby
Birthdays Graduation
Anniversaries Holidays
Weddings Thank You
How it Works:
Come by the library and pick up a BHP brochure or call the library to request a mailed copy. Fill out the form with the person's name and a list of their interests. After you return the form and a check for your donation amount, the Library's Collection Development Committee will select and order an appropriate book. A special bookplate will be secured to the inside front cover of the book in honor of your special person. When the book arrives, the donor and honoree or family will be notified.
Suggested donations are $25.00 for a children's book and $30.00 to $50.00 for adult books.
Your generous contribution to the BHP program will honor someone and benefit the community as new books are added to the library's collection. Your tax-deductible contribution honoring someone may equal the cost of the book or it may exceed the actual price of the book. Your financial participation in the Books Honor People program will go into a special fund. Monies from that fund will be used to purchase books that honor people. Your friends and family will benefit from the expanding collection of books that the library acquires through this special program.
